ESP
Custom Shop Strat
Pearl White/maple neck/gold hardware.
This is my most recent ESP custom shop strat, it`s killer looking
and sounds great. Pickups- Dimarzio YJM in the neck, DiMarzio
HS-3 in the bridge and a DiMarzio virtual vintage solo in the
middle position. Alder body, vintage trem, sperzel locking tuners.
This was my main guitar for most of "Virtuostic Vendetta",
it's got a great sounding and playing maple neck on it and a
huge smashing strat tone. In addition to many solos I used this
for the bulk of the heavy rhythm work on the record as well.

ESP
Custom Shop Strat
I've had this guitar for quite awhile and it's one of my favorites,
it's my number 3 live guitar and has seen time touring with
my solo thing, the Reign of Terror and HolyHell. This was
my other main guitar on the new record and it has a great
darker sounding Blackmore-ish midrange. All the solos and
single note work on "The Dance of Kashani", "Blackmore`s
Boogie" and "Chasing The Dragon" and a few
others were done on it. Pickups are - DiMarzio YJM in the
neck, ESP fender vintage style in the middle and DiMarzio
HS-3 in the bridge.

ESP
Custom Shop Strat
This is one of my main live guitars with my solo stuff, it's
been everywhere with me. It's burned in, worn in , sounds
and looks great. It's held up great considering all the abuse
it's seen , anytime I'm playing live with my solo thing it's
there with me. DiMarzio YJM in neck, ESP vintage in middle
and DiMarzio HS-3 in the bridge. Vintage trem but it`s got
an extra thick bar (ala Blackmore) as I snapped off the original
one in the block

ESP
modified Vintage Plus model
I got this one from ESP last year sometime
and I really love it for an off the rack guitar, my good buddy
Dean Cascione did the neck scallop for me and the pickup configuration
is YJM neck, Seymour Duncan Vintage style in middle, DiMarzio
Fast Track 2 in brigde. Alder body as all my ESP`s and I love
the Wilkinson Vintage replacement bridge, it stays in tune
killer and retains all the tonal qualities of a vintage Fender
-style trem.

ESP
Custom Shop Strat
This one along with the vintage cream/white maple neck pearl
pickguard ESP strat is my main live guitar with my solo thing.
It's got a thinner maple neck, almost a cross between a 70's
strat and an old original Charvel . Alder body , Dimarzio
YJM in the neck, ESP vintage in the middle, DiMarzio HS-3
in bridge. Again like the cream one it`s see lots of action
and continues to hold up great. Almost all of "Speed
Metal Messiah" was recorded with this guitar.

ESP
Custom Shop Strat
My main strat with HolyHell, I used this on all the solos
on the HolyHell EP as well as the upcoming HolyHell debut
record and it`s one of my main touring guitars with the band.
Pickup configuration is the DiMarzio YJM in the neck, DiMarzio
Virtual Vintage 54 in middle, and a DiMarzio HS-3 in bridge,
this one's also got the Wilkinson vintage replacement bridge
and it stays in tune great.

DC
Custom shop strat
This one was built to my specs by Dean Cascione of DC guitars,
it`s got a reverse 68 style strat neck on it, a very deep
scallop, Dunlop 6000 fret wire (as all my guitars) with a
DiMarzio YJM in the neck and DiMarzio Virtual Vintage solo
pickups in the middle and bridge.

1979
Fender Stratocaster
I've had this guitar since the late 1990's and it`s one of
my best sounding older Strats. It's got an ash body but not
too heavy weight-wise. I used this on a bunch of "Virtuostic
Vendetta", all the solos in "Strat Sorcery"
and a bunch on "Old School Throwdown". I still play
it all the time and years ago before I got all my custom shop
ESP's it was one of my main live axes as well.

Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster
I have many Yngwie signature models,
they're all great, very well made guitars and all very consistent.
I've had this one since it came out back in the late 90's
when they updated the model then, I still play it around the
house all the time.

Fender
Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster
This is one of the first Yngwie models,
I got this one the first year they came out around 1988. For
years it was my main guitar (1989- 1994) I recorded my first
3 solo albums using it and used to use it live back in Trash
Broadway and in my early solo period.

Fender
Stratocaster reverse 68 re-issue
I got this guitar like a year
or 2 ago, had the neck scalloped and was going to switch out
the pickups but the stock Fender one's in it sound killer for
the Jimi thing (it`s got the reverse back pickup ala Jimi Voodoo
strat). I used this on all the chordal stuff on "Strat
Sorcery" on "Virtuostic Vendetta". A good friend
of mine gave me a Hendrix backplate with a bad-ass image of
Jimi on it which makes it that much cooler.

ESP
Custom Shop Strat
The second custom shop model I got from the good folks at
ESP. This one's got a Floyd Rose tremolo, alder body, pearl
white finish, YJM in the neck position and a Dimarzio Fast
Track in the bridge. I used this one on a bunch of "Rapid
Fire Rondo".

ESP
M1 Standard
I`ve had this guitar since the late 80's, I bought it long
before my ESP endorsement. I`ve since scalloped the neck.
It`s got sperzel locking tuners and a Dimarzio Air Norton
pickup in the neck and a Dimarzio X2N in the bridge, a vicious
metal machine!

Fender
Japan Ritchie Blackmore Sig Model
I picked this up a few years after I got my first Blackmore
model, this one still has the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders
in the neck and bridge with the dummy pickup in the middle.
I put on a black pickguard to give it the Blackmore circa
1979-80 "Down to Earth" period look.

Fender
Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster
This one along with the red Malmsteen
sig Strat I`ve had since the late 1980's. I used this on a
bunch of "Supersonic Shred Machine" and the first
2 Reign of Terror records.

Fender
Stratocaster
The body of this guitar is from the
Japanese strat I smashed up for the cover of "Night Of
The Living Shred". The neck was destroyed but the body
remained in tact so I threw another neck on it. Dimarzio HS-3`s
in the neck and bridge and Fender pickup in the middle position

Fender
Stratocaster (hybrid)
Another strat I`ve had for
over 20 years. This one's my first scalloped neck strat modeled
after Blackmore`s main axe from Rainbow`s "Live on Stage"
album. Its got a dummy pickup in the middle and DiMarzio HS-3`s
in the neck and bridge. The neck is from a 1979 Strat and
is killer, very thin with great tone whilst the body is from
an old Fender Japan Strat.

Fender
Japan Ritchie Blackmore Sig Model
Fender only made 500 of these back in
1997 and I bought two, being a Blackmore fanatic I had to
have a few. Nice guitar , it originally had the Seymour Duncan
Quarter Pounders in the neck and bridge but one of them crapped
out so I put a DiMarzio YJM in the neck and a DiMarzio Fast
Track in the bridge .

Fender
Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster
When they updated the Yngwie model back
in 2008 I'd been meaning to pick one of the new ones up to
add to my collection. Eventually I did and Fender did a great
job on this updated model, it sounds and plays killer.

MC
Guitars Joe Stump Demon Wing
This is the Demon Wing prototype made custom for me by MC
Guitars. They approached me and wanted to do a more metal
type of machine as opposed to a standard strat style body
shape. While this guitar looks like an evil metal machine
it`s contours to my body just like a strat. The pickup switch,
the positioning of the knobs and the trem are indentical to
a stratocaster. So while it looks somewhat radical it `s quite
a traditional axe.
The
neck is modeled after one of Blackmore`s own 72 strat necks
and Dawk Stillwell who was Blackmore`s tech during Purple
and the Dio-era Rainbow installed a custom master tone circuit
that Ritchie had in many of his main guitars. It`s got an
alder body, locking sperzel tuners, an oversized headstock,
scalloped neck, graphtech nut, Dunlop 6000 jumbo frets, pickup-wise
all Dimarzio of course, a YJM in the neck, Virtual Vintage
solo in the middle and Tone Zone S in the bridge. The trem
is a hipshot and I love it. The guitar stays in tune amazingly
well ,sounds massive and has great tone . Also the 3 top hat
knobs are from one of Blackmore`s strats so it`s got the Ritchie
mojo, enough said.
It`s
my main axe with HolyHell. I`m having a new one built now
with a bad-ass custom paint job and custom inlays.

MC
Guitars Joe Stump Demon Wing
Dean Cascione, in collaboration with MC Guitars, just completed work on the latest weapon to my shred arsenal, my new custom DemonWing. Dean did
a killer job for me on this axe for which I'm extremely grateful. The bad-ass custom paint job is courtesy of Brian at Orion
Guitar Finishing.

Fender
Stratocaster (hybrid)
I love the neck on this one, same pickup configuration as
most of my strats YJM -neck, HS-3 bridge, fender pickup in
the middle slot. The body is from a Fender Japan Strat and
the neck is an original USA 1971 Fender Strat neck done to
my usual modifications.

Fender
Yngwie Malmsteen Sig Stratocaster
I`ve had this one awhile as well. The Sonic Blue color is
almost more of a foam green at this point. It belongs to a
close friend of mine and and I`m keeping it for him.

Fender
Yngwie Malmsteen Sig Stratocaster
Another guitar I`ve had for over 20 years, I`m holding it
on the inside pictures on my first solo cd "Guitar Dominance".
It`s seen quite a bit of action back in the earlier stages
of my career.

1972
USA Fender Stratocaster
My Blackmore Made in Japan strat, this one`s a real 72, my
very first stratocaster was almost identical to this one and
I got that back when I was 14 . My original one back in the
70`s was a 74. That was my rig as a teenager a 74 strat and
a 100 watt Marshall.

Fender
Japan Yngwie Malmsteen Sig Stratocaster
When they first came out with the Fender USA Yngwie signature
strat they also produced a Japanese one that was modeled more
after his famous 71 strat with the larger headstock. Orinally
this guitar didn't have the dimarzios but after I bought it
I installed an HS-3 in the neck and bridge. Another strat
I`ve had since the late 80`s / early 90`s.

1971
Fender Stratocaster
This also is a real 71, I got it from Wolf, he does most of
the work on all my guitars . He got it cheap from some guy
who didn`t have a clue and had stripped the finish off of
it. I had it repainted Ferrari red, had the neck scalloped,
and a YJM in the neck and HS-3 in the bridge, a great sounding
and looking strat.

Mexican
Fender 1970'S RI Stratocaster
This is a mexican 70`s re-issue I bought awhile ago. It`s
my Blackmore Deep Purple Burn era/ Live at the California
Jam strat. Like all my strats it`s got a heavily scalloped
neck and a YJM in the neck and HS-3 in the bridge , (fender
pickup in the middle position). The body is a a nice lightweight
piece of ash and it`s got some tone to it.

ESP
Custom Shop Stratocaster
The first guitar I got from ESP when I came on as an endorsee
back in 1994/95 Color-wise it`s a cross between salmon pink
and fiesta red. I`ve since refretted it with Dunlop jumbos
and like all my ESP custom shop guitars it`s got a YJM in
the neck, HS-3 in the bridge, Sperzel locking tuners, a graphtech
nut and a scalloped neck.
